Swaziland coach Pieter De Jongh says his side believes his side can overturn the 4-0 deficit against Zambia in Saturday’s second leg Kenya 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier set for Heroes Stadium.
And Zambia assistant coach Aggrey Chiyangi says his side is looking beyond Saturday match as they have their eyes on building a strong team.
During a pre-match press conference at Heroes Stadium De Jongh said that the first leg match was behind with his charges focussed on making amends for the first leg loss.
Meanwhile Chiyangi said that the technical bench had urged the players to put in their best as they were looking to build a strong team.
“For us the 4-0 victory is water under the bridge, the main thing we are trying to do is to try and build very strong team and challenge for the world cup,” he said.
“So the game that we are playing tomorrow is a different game, it is a new game and we have other targets that have been set for tomorrow’s game.”
He added, “We are ready for Swaziland.”
And skipper Ziyo Tembo said Swaziland would not be underrated by Zambia.
Winner over two legs will play either Botswana or South Africa in the final qualifying round.
