Zesco head to Nakambala in midweek action

Zesco United will get a chance to catch up with the rest of the teams in the Super Division when they play Nakambala Leopards on Wednesday in a rescheduled week three fixture.

Coach Zlatko Krmpotic’s have a congested 2017 season ahead as they will be also competing in the Caf Confederation Cup where they have entered the Group Stage.

Zesco United has won their two league matches played so far dispatching Konkola Blades 2-0 before beating Nchanga Rangers 4-1.

Nakambala Leopards drew with Nkana one all on match day one and beat Green Buffaloes on Sunday in their week three match.

Meanwhile draws for the group phase of the Total Caf Champions League 2017 and Total CAF Confederation Cup will be held on Wednesday, 26 April 2017 in Cairo, Egypt, with the qualified clubs drawn from 19 countries.

Zanaco and Zesco United are flying the Zambian flag on the continental front and will wait to hear their opponents when the draw is conducted in Cairo tomorrow.
