The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has successfully hosted the first –ever licensing coaching course for First Division coaches.
The training programme brought together 40 coaches from the FAZ Division One South and Northern zones.
FAZ Technical Director Honour Janza hailed the programme asserting that the success of the training was a continuation of the first-ever licensing course at any level which was held for the Super League coaches just over a month ago.
FAZ has embarked on a capacity building programme which has resulted in the training of over 500 coaches, referees and administrators over the last 28 months.
The next training programmes are for women coaches in a project to be undertaken by FAZ and the KNVB, the Royal Netherlands Football Association.
They are scheduled for August 2010.
