The Football Association of Zambia is very pleased with the announcement made by the Honourable Minister of Sports Kenneth Chipungu that work at the ultra-modern 40 000 seat stadium in Ndola has accelerated and completion time has been brought forward from October 2011 to December 2010.
This is important for football and national development.
It is the first modern stadium has ever built and commendation goes to the President and patron of FAZ H.E. RB and entire government for the hard work, dedication and commitment to development.
FAZ and the entire football family wish to commend the state for this development.
With that development, FAZ is confident that the Chipolopolo should be able to play qualifiers for Gabon/Equatorial Guinea 2012 and Brazil 2014 games at the new stadium.
