Last week Saturday, the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) hosted an exceptionally successful one-day seminar for Super League clubs.

The seminar was held at the Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commerce in Lusaka.

The seminar was aimed at equipping and building capacity of our administrators in respect of new rules and regulations governing the game.

Of special and particular interest was the new international transfer regulation which takes global effect on 5 October 2010.

From 5 October, all international transfer will be conducted online with International Transfer Certificates (ITCs) generated automatically using the online TMS – the Transfer Matching System. Each club will be provided with its own special access codes i.e. username and password to access the system.

The seminar was led by FAZ General Secretary George Kasengele and his Ugandan counterpart, Moses Magogo.

The clubs were given instruction on the new regulation, processes of the new FIFA TMS and online/electronic issuance of ITCs.

FAZ will continue to educate club officials and administrators with new trends in the football world. We plan another meeting to follow-up on the last workshop.
