Zambia Development/CHAN Team head trainer George Lwandamina has expressed satisfaction with his squad’s focus and desire to beat South Africa in this weekend’s second and final leg match of the 2011 CHAN qualifiers.
Zambia hosts the Development side of the 2010 FIFA World Cup hosts at the Nkoloma Stadium on Saturday June 5.
Said Lwandamina; “I’m certain and very positive that we will qualify. Of course it will not come easy because we have to work hard. We have to cancel the 0-1 loss we suffered and score more goals so that we get the better of them over the two legs. We are working hard especially in the forward line so that we play and score the goals we need. I’m positive we will achieve the ultimate and qualify for Sudan.”
The South African team is expected to arrive Wednesday.
Zambia needs a minimum of 2-0 victory to qualify for the second African Nations Championship (CHAN) which Sudan will host next January.
