The Football Association of Zambia has brought together a total of 18 local coaches for a training programme which should prepare them for qualification as football instructors.

These coaches gathered from Sunday this week and will undertake the course to the end of the week. This training programme is in line with the FAZ programme to build capacity among the men and women involved in the running and administration of our game. As at the end of last year, FAZ had trained up to 400 coaches, officials and referees.

With this group of instructors, we bring the number of trained coaches, referees and club administrators to nearly 500 (493 to be precise).

We are grateful to the Royal Dutch Football Federation for their wonderful support and partnership with FAZ.
