Zambian champions Zanaco are through to the next round of the Orange CAF champions League after beating Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) 4-0 at the Nkoloma stadium in Lusaka.
Evident from the first leg, taking a slender lead (1-0) to Lusaka, URA again failed to cope with the high tempo of the Zambians run rings around the URA defence.
Poor communication between URA’s centre defense partnership (Musa Doku and Sam Mubiru) gifted winger Allan Makuka the opener after 9 minutes.
Makundika Sakala and Thomas Nyirenda then netted the third and fourth to give the home side a 3-0 half time lead.
On resumption, the Zambian champions scored the fourth in the 54th minute Sakala scored his second of the day.
“We really looked poor at the back and were also punished for missing great scoring chances in the first half,” URA coach Moses Basena told Cafonline.com on phone from Lusaka.
Zanaco will now meet Ivory Coast glamour side ASEC Mimosa in the last 32.
