ZANACO THRASH ENYIMBA, LOOK TO GROUP STAGE - Tuesday, July 20, 2010
Following a 4-0 demolition of Nigerian champions Enyimba, Sensational Zanaco are looking forward to the return leg in Aba with great anticipation as they seek to ensure that Zambia has representation in one of the two continental club championships for the second straight year.

Zanaco coach Wedson Nyirenda is determined not to let the 4-0 win get to his players’ heads as he plots a strategy that should secure the bankers a place among the continent’s top cubs.

While Nyirenda will not go defensive from the first whistle in the return leg, he is set to employ a strategy that will protect his four goals while having a go at the opponent’s goal to get an away goal that would effectively kill-off the contest.

Nyirenda reckons that despite the 4-0 win at Sunset Stadium, the game was not over as the other 90 minutes has yet to be played to complete the fixture.

Enyimba jetted into Lusaka bubbling with confidence and declaring war on the Zambian champions. However they found the art of Zanaco’s display too much to handle and went into the break 0-4 down. The Nigerians were lucky the bankers did not use of their second half chances to further embarrass them.
