FAZ WARNS OVER ILLEGAL CHIPOLOPOLO MERCHANDISE - Thursday, May 27, 2010
The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has noted with grave concern the thriving illegal trade of Chipolopolo replicas in Lusaka, in particular among Sunday traders during the open market at the Arcades Shopping complex.

We would like to sternly warn that those traders dealing in unauthorized Zambia shirts and other Chipolopolo/FAZ merchandise will face the wrath of the law.

FAZ has in the past repeatedly warned against prohibited merchandising and pirating of Chipolopolo regalia. We will now proceed to engage the Zambia Police anti-piracy squad to effect arrests of these illegal dealers. This we will commence immediately.

This is being done to protect the Chipolopolo and FAZ income especially that the Association has undertaken to provide for sale Chipolopolo replica shirts, caps and other products which will only be offered from Football House and other duly appointed sales and marketing outlets.

FAZ, Chipolopolo and Nike are patented and business names that cannot be exploited without the express permission and approval of the wieners of these businesses.
