ZAMBIA U17 SQUAD UNVEILED - Thursday, April 22, 2010
Coach Aggrey Chiyangi has unveiled a highly talented 18 member team with an average age of about 15.9 years to play Uganda in the return leg of the preliminary round of qualification for the 2011 CAF Africa Junior Championships.

The 2001 CAF U-17 tournament will be hosted by Rwanda.

Chiyangi and his technical staff have maintained faith in their youngsters who played seemingly over-age Ugandans in the first leg a fortnight ago at Nakivubu stadium in Kampala.

Along the 18 are three boys on standby.

The three will continue to train with the rest of the team to match-day Saturday April 24.

They still stand a chance of making the squad depending on final preparatory assessments over the last training sessions on Thursday afternoon and Friday.

The full squad:

Goalkeepers: 1-Kenny Mumba, 16- Richard Njobvu.

Defenders: 15-Peter Mulenga, 3-Alex Sichone, 13-Jimmy Nakena, 2-Chisimba Changala, 4-Malan Godwe, 5-Kacholo Banda.

Midfielders: 17-Nathan Bwalya, 8-Simon Nkhoma, 12-Salulani Phiri, 7-Masauso Tembo, 18-Lubambo Musonda, 10-Emmanuel Mwaba, 11-Patrick Sakala.

Forwards: 6-Ronald Kampamba, 9-Moses Phiri, 14-Martin Chakulya.

Standby: Constantinos Ioaanou(Forward), Roy Sakwanda(Forward), Matipa Musa(Goalkeeper).
