CHIPOLOPOLO LOOK TO BLAST PANTHERS - Thursday, January 21, 2010
Zambia’s Chipolopolo Boys take to the field against the Gabonese Panthers as they seek to snatch three points and qualify to the quarterfinals -- the first since finishing third at South Africa in 1996.

Herve Renard is expected to field the squad that lined up against Tunisia and Cameroon as he seeks goals that should give him his primary target -- qualification from Group D.

The match, set for the Estadio Nacional de Ombaka is set for a 5pm local time kick-off or 6pm Zambian time. Going into this evening’s Group D games, all four teams have a chance to get to the quarterfinals. Zambia needs an outright win to qualify.

The result of the other group game between Cameroon and Tunisia at the Estadio Nacional Tundavala will have no impact on the game in Benguela.

Zambia: Kennedy Mweene (GK), Emmanuel Mbola, Joseph Musonda, Chintu Kampamba, Stoppila Sunzu, Thomas Nyirenda, Chris Katongo (c), Rainford Kalaba, James Chamanga, Jacob Mulenga, Felix Katongo.
