ZAMBIA ARRIVES IN BENGUELA - Tuesday, January 19, 2010
Hot and humid weather greeted the Chipolopolo as they arrived in the coastal city of Benguela for the third and final group decider against the Panthers of Gabon.

The Angolan Airlines plane carrying the Zambia team left Lubango about 1:45pm in very wet conditions and touched down at the Benguela airport after a 30-minute flight.

Clad in their elegant black suits with matching white shirts and green ties, the Chipolopolo went straight to their new hotel, the Praia Monte, in downtown Benguela. After lunch at the new home of the team, they took a few hours to refresh before getting to the training ground.

The training stadium is conveniently placed just next to the hotel. The team no longer needs the use of the team bus as the players just make a short 3-minute walk to the venue, which they overlook from their high-rise hotel.

The team will have a feel of the match venue, the Estadio Nacional Ombaka, on Tuesday night.
