Lwandamina names team for Namibia tie

Zambia national football team interim coach George Lwandamina has named his final 18-man squad for the 2016 African Nations Championship match against Namibia on Sunday.

Lwandamina has retained nine players from the team which played out a goalless draw at home to Guinea-Bissau last Sunday.

The retained players are goalkeepers Jacob Banda and Danny Munyao as well as defenders Christopher Munthali, Donashano Malama and Fackson Kapumbu.

Others are Kondwani Mtonga, Paul Katema, Allan Mukuka and Patson Daka.

2013 Cosafa Cup winning captain Bronson Chama returns to the squad along with Jackson Mwanza, Winston Kalengo and Jimmy Ndhlovu.

Green Buffaloes midfielders Jack Chirwa and Buchizya Mfune are the most notable inclusions.

Charles Zulu, Patrick Ngoma and Winston Kalengo complete the list.

The team departs Lusaka for Windhoek on Friday for the match scheduled for the Sam Nujoma Stadium.

Strikers: Patrick Ngoma (Red Arrows), Jimmy Ndhlovu (Power Dynamos), Patson Daka (Nchanga Rangers), Jackson Mwanza (Zesco United), Winston Kalengo (Zesco United).
