Janza announces squad for Ethiopia







Zambia national football team coach Honour Janza has announced his squad for the international friendly match against Ethiopia on Sunday.

The friendly match is part of the preparations for qualifying matches of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and the African Nations Championship (CHAN) to be played against Guinea Bissau and Namibia on 13th June and 20th/21st June respectively.

The squad which comprises ten players from the domestic league has two goalkeepers in Danny Munyao and Jacob Banda.

Southampton forward Emmanuel Mayuka returns to the fold for the first time since the injury he picked up in the match against Tunisia at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Zanaco leftback Fackson Kapumbu has also been included along with Nkana central defender Kapota Kayawe and FC Ulisses Yerevan midfielder Lubambo Musonda.

Janza has also listed Israel-based Evans Kangwa and has kept his faith in young and upcoming midfielder Paul Katema.
