On the 28th of April 1993, 18 years ago, a Zambian Buffalo Air force plane crashed off the coast of Gabon. On board was the Zambian National Football Team, then known as the KK11, who were on their way to Senegal to play an AFCON qualifying game.

Current FAZ President, who was at the time team Captain, Kalusha Bwalya, was not on the plane on that fateful day. He played for PSV Eindhoven and planned to fly directly from Holland and meet the team in Dakar, Senegal.
In 2005 a crew from Dutch Television channel, NOS, followed Kalusha for 10 days and produced this wonderful documentary. We thought we would share it with you in memory of our fallen heroes. Heroes who dreams are ours to fulfil, heroes who are not here with us but who will never be forgotten. May they RIP.
