Zambia’s most caped football player and currently President of the Zambian Football Association, Kalusha Bwalya (second left) joined his country’s national soccer team during a visit to the NuMetro Cinema Complex at Emperors Palace on Thursday evening, January 7, to watch the inspiring movie “Invictus”, ahead of the team’s campaign in the African Cup of Nations. <P>Bwalya, who is also a FIFA 2010 Ambassador, was joined at the screening by Zambian team captain, Christopher Katongo, team coach, Herve Renard and striker, James Chamanga. Familiar faces on the local soccer scene, Kennedy Mweene (Free State Stars), Chintu Kampamba (AmaZulu), Kalililo Kakonje (AmaZulu) and Noah Chivuta (Maritzburg United) who have been included in the Zambian football squad that will be competing in the African Cup of Nations which starts in Angola on Sunday. <p>The four took time out, along with their Zambian team mates, from preparing for the continent’s football showpiece by visiting the NuMetro Cinema Complex at Emperors Palace on Thursday evening, January 7 to watch the inspirational movie “Invictus”. <p>The four will be hoping to help their team to victory in Angola and become heroes much like the Springboks did in the 1995 Rugby World Cup on which “Invictus” is based.
